Academic Text

Dave Jeffery has been invited by Frank Columbus, CEO of publishers Nova Science to contribute a chapter for a new book on deafness and mental health. The book, due to be published late next year, will extend Dave's professional profile in the field of challenging behaviour and risk management. As well as this, Nova Science has  invited Dave to write a professional text book concerning ethics and mental health service provision. This book is slated for 2010, and somewhere amongst all this Dave will be releasing 'Cryptic Crypt' - the third Beatrice adventure!

Second Book with Chipmunka

Today I signed a contract with Chipmunka Publishing for another novel with a mental health theme.  The story follows a developing romance between a service user and her community nurse. Entitled: Taboo the book intends to be highly controversial, exploring the conflicts and consequences for both the service user and the community nurse. Can love will out? I guess we will just have to see. Taboo will be published  in 2009.

Cautionary Note: Taboo will have adult themes and content and is, therefore, not recommended for those under 18 years of age.
